Your Key to a Lucrative Career in the Construction Industry
Building Pathways to Success and a Better Hawaii for All
The Makaha Cultural Learning Center, a native 501(c)3, was started in Makaha Valley almost a decade ago. Today, our primary mission is to create opportunities for Native Hawaiians and the people of the Waianae Coast through leadership, trades-training, and outreach programs.
Unlock your passion and talent, reinforce gratitude, and be inspired to emerge as a capable worker with highly-valued skills. We are the only organization that provides non-union construction trade education west of the Honolulu area. Our programs in General Construction, Renewable Energy, HVAC-R, and Electrical Apprenticeship, will place you on a successful path to a growing career.

Scholarships
An Affordable Future
The scholarship fund, made possible by Pacific Current and Kamehameha Schools, is aimed at helping current students pursue higher education in the specialty trade and construction fields.
Recipients of the Ho'omau Scholarship will receive $1,000 to pursue higher education programs including trade school, apprenticeship programs, and accredited degree programs.

Don't doubt that what you do makes an impact.
Giving financially is a direct way that you can help restore our community on the Makaha coast, Or you can consider sharing your precious time in a volunteer position. We need instructors, administrative staff, and people who want to make a difference!
