Aloha Construction Foundations

The Aloha Construction Foundations Program provides a tailored pathway into the skilled-trade workforce and addresses personal foundation as enthusiastically as it builds capacity. This study pairs an 80-hour core construction class with a guided study in Aloha to lay a multidisciplinary foundation for those seeking a career in the construction industry while strengthening a personal and cultural foundation through the practice of Aloha. Completion of the program will springboard students into any construction discipline they pursue.

Solar 101

Currently Enrolling for Spring/Summer 2022.

2 Cohorts: April 18th (Kapolei) and June 20th (Nanakuli)

 

Hawaii is going green! Be a part of the renewable energy revolution and earn credentials in this exciting and growing industry. The need for solar photovoltaic installers has increased and is projected to grow with the demand for solar installations. This 40- hour entry-level curriculum covers topics such as Introduction to Solar Photovoltaics, System Design, and System Installation.

Pre-requisite for full Level 1 Credential: Aloha Construction Foundations

This course meets the North American Board of Energy Practitioners’ (NABCEP’s) educational standards for technicians. Successful completion of this course satisfies NABCEP's formal (classroom) training requirement for Associate level testing.
